Louis Vuitton collaborated with Richard Prince for a spring line of handbags, and now they’ve taken it a step further and created a special limited edition version to celebrate Prince’s first solo exhibition (called “Continuation”) that will take place at the Serpentine Gallery (in the UK) from June 26 - Sept 7.

There will be 50 of the ostrich and canvas Jamais bags available (numbered and signed of course) at Vuitton’s Sloane Street store in London and each will be priced at about $17,800.

Like the designer Gleni states, “A luxury handbag is the one fashion accessory you can’t do without.”  Summer 2008 they are presenting their new line of genuine ostrich skin handbags.  One of the reasons that ostrich is one of the more expensive leathers, besides its exceptional quality, is that it is much in demand, by top designers of world famous fashion houses, for their luxury goods and there is only a limited production in the world.  You won’t have to bury your head in the sand when you’re flaunting one of these beautiful handbags.

The Burberry Alligator Warrior is a beautiful work of art with metal stud detailing and adjustable shoulder strap.  It’s available for $22,000.  Burberry offers other Warrior handbags for a fraction of the price.  But the supple alligator skin really makes this bag pop.Â

How cute is this bag.  With shearling being the new look for those brisk fall/winter days, this handbag is a perfect accessory to any outfit.  The Shearling ‘Storm’ and Shearling ‘Thunder’ run for $3,850 and $3,450 respectively, their main difference being their shape.
